Networking at Steigenberger Graf Zeppelin
The hotel is known to most members of EUMA Stuttgart. In previous years, many of our meetings and networking events took place there. For a whole year the hotel has undergone thorough renovation. Especially the Spa was turned upside down and enlarged. The total number of rooms was reduced by turning 2 single rooms into 1 room that may be used by 1 or 2 guests. Mrs. Gehbauer and Mrs. Huber welcomed the group and showed the participants around the hotel. Afterwards they invited them to a delicious buffet and drinks. There was plenty of time and opportunity to network. When the event ended in the Zeppelin Stüble with a night cup, all participants agreed that Steigenberger Graf Zeppelin again is a good address to stay and also for meetings and conferences in Stuttgart.

Networking Event
EUMA Stuttgart's members and guests will meet at Restaurant "Liebstöckel" for an evening of networking. There will be plenty of time to hear about past and future events such as the German Spring Training, the 25th Anniversary of EUMA Germany, and the AGM in Hamburg. Also, we will collect ideas for EUMA Germany's Autumn Training which will be held in Stuttgart in November. The Regional Group is proud to host this event, volunteers and ideas are most welcome.

Networking Event
Shortly before EUMA Germany's Spring Training and AGM in Hamburg, EUMA Stuttgart's members and guests met at "Academie der Schönsten Künste" for an evening of intensive networking. There were many participants enjoying delicious food and plenty of time to hear about past and future events, to meet colleagues, get and give advice - to make it short: make the EUMA net work. Year End Event Ulm
After last year's year end highlight in Nuremberg, EUMA Munich and EUMA Stuttgart will once again have a cross regional event. This time Ulm will be the location and it is a great pleasure that our Affiliate Member Elisabeth Stasch from Stasch Event&Travel GmbH volunteered to organize this event for us. She has prepared a relaxing and interesting programme including a visit to an exhibition for us, for details please see invitation. Walking Dinner & Networking
Michael Berger, Assistant Director of Sales & Marketing Millenium Hotel und Resort, invited EUMA Stuttgart to the SI-Centrum in Stuttgart-Möhringen. After the get-together, welcome drinks and delicious snacks, there was a tour of the center. Guided by Michael Berger and Tamara Opielka, we saw various hotel rooms of different categories, the beautiful sights from the top floor of the building, the wellness area, and even got a roulette lesson in the Casino. At various points of the tour, there were drinks, a main course, and dessert and plenty of opportunity to network. Our sincere thanks go to the Millenium Hotel and Resort, Michael Berger for inviting us and showing us the many features of the centre which is a very attractive venue for conferences, work and holiday, private and business events. Aida, Bregenz Festival
Members and guests who visited the festival in 2009 were overwhelmed and recommended the visit to colleagues and friends. As a cross-regional event this year, 21 persons from Munich and Stuttgart met and stayed in Wasserburg near Bregenz to see the very special performance of Verdi’s Aida on Lake Constance. Although it rained until the afternoon, the weather in the evening was fine, the boat rides to and from Bregenz went smoothly as did the performance. The story of war and victims, of love and jealousy, of patriotism and treason was well told and included many allusions to current global politics. As on earlier occasions, EUMA member Mathilde Berger illustrated the benefits of having different talents in your network. She did a marvellous job consulting the moon calendar for the best weather, preparing and organizing the event. Thank you again, Mathilde!

Excursion to Winterbach, Remstal
11 members and their guests were pleased to meet at Winterbach, which belongs to the picturesque valley „Remstal“- 25 kilometres eastbound of Stuttgart. The region offers viniculture, excellent restaurants, charming hotel accommodations as well as many interesting details in cultural history. Winterbach is a very typical town which offers both amenities to enjoy and a perfect environment for working.

Training Day "Intercultural Competence" and national AGM in Munich
The National Groups of EUMA Germany, Spain and Austria were pleased to wecome their members and guests, as well as members from EUMA France and Belgium, to their joint spring training „Sharing Worlds – Intercultural Competence, your key to success“ in the Munich Maritim Hotel. Our trainer Gesa Krämer provided all the participants with helpful instructions for a quick „knowledge of cultures“ in order to amplify their intercultural competence!
