The Working World and Personnel Recruitment in the Future
Our corporate member DIS AG was our host for this evening. Barbara Klunker informed us about the current and future changes in the working world, how to find personnel in the future and what role professional recruiting companies will play. We also learnt what these changes mean for us as assistants. After the presentation, we had a wonderful time networking with drinks and snacks by aveato, our corporate member, who had also prepared a surprise snack box for every participant. Many thanks to DIS AG and aveato for supporting this evening!

Stress Management
Aimée-Desirée Bauer was our trainer on that evening at Mercure Hamburg City Hotel. After a warm welcome by the hotel team including drinks and snacks, we had a hotel tour and were shown the event location KAI10 situated next to the hotel on one of Hamburg’s canals. Aimée-Desirée Bauer then gave us a lively presentation with many practical exercises on how to prevent stress and burn out in our everyday life. After that we had a good time networking in a wonderful atmosphere with delicious drinks and food.

The Paperless Office
“What does the idea of a paperless office mean to you?” asked Andrea Kaden, our speaker for the evening. The participants answered, „A Dream!“. In her talk, Frau Kaden presented many good reasons for a paperfree or at least, a paperless office. In return, we learned which tools can be helpful to us to actually make work in reality. Our host was the Marriott Hotel Hamburg, where the staff toured us around the hotel showcasing their facilities and spoiling us with their culinary treats.

Summary Income Tax Seminar
On 23 January 2013 we were guests at WTS Steuerberatungsgesellschaft mbH who had invited us for the second year in a row to give an update on income tax matters. In her talk, Frau Weber informed us about enacted as well as pending changes to income tax law, for example, in relation to regulations governing how travel expenses are handled for tax purposes or the ElStAM procedure. Afterwards, over snacks and drinks, we had the opportunity to network with our EUMA colleagues.

Training Day "Intercultural Competence" and national AGM in Munich
The National Groups of EUMA Germany, Spain and Austria were pleased to wecome their members and guests, as well as members from EUMA France and Belgium, to their joint spring training „Sharing Worlds – Intercultural Competence, your key to success“  in the Munich Maritim Hotel.  Our trainer Gesa Krämer provided all the participants with helpful instructions for a quick „knowledge of cultures“ in order to amplify their intercultural competence!
