When looking back to all what happened within EUMA Germany during 2011, we really do have a lot to tell:
EUMA Germany was celebrating its 25th anniversary; reason enough to have jubilee festivities at the place of its foundation: Hamburg. With a special Welcome Reception on a floating home as well as a gala dinner at the famous ‘Hauptzollamt’ in Hamburg, we really had an exhilarating party.
We combined the festivities with our spring seminar on ‘Quick wittedness’ with the excellent trainer Diana Vanbrabant. The successful event (including a fair of some of our Corporate Members and partners) attracted participants from all over Europe.
During our autumn seminar we addressed the topic ‘Crisis management’ with a very good and experienced crisis manager and trainer, Frank Roselieb. Accompanying the seminar we again had a small and very nice fair with Corporate Members and partners.
On an international level we focused in Luxembourg on ‚Emotional Intelligence: Master your Emotions – To Master your Life‘ and in Zuerich on ‚Moving Forward in a Fast Changing World‘.
We are the largest country group in the EUMA family thanks to our continuous work on a regional level. With monthly or bi-monthly evening trainings and workshops, we do offer our members a wide range of topics to get a taste of them and to deepen the knowledge in further daily trainings.
EUMA also stands for a large network on a regional, national and international level. Grap your chance and keep on broadening your network! It will definitely help you in your daily business or when changing jobs or even moving to another European country. Our networking concept is not just theory and is lived and practiced actively: EUMA Germany won the 'Star Award' the fifth time in a row – an award given by the European Committee for dedicated and continuous cross-boarder co-operation.
Many thanks to all EUMA members: You are the pulse of our network and you really live it. A special thanks goes to all the helping hands for their complementary and non-profit work for EUMA Germany.
Looking forward into 2012 we again do have two national and two international events (Athens and Reykjavik). Be curious and also watch out for detailed information on our regional events on the webpage as of January onwards.

I wish all of you a Merry Christmas, some quiet and relaxing holidays as well as a good start into the new year 2012.

Yours sincerely

Daniela Schneider
